Desperate to make Carla fall in love with him, Delfin concocts a love potion with the help of a talking and dancing Santo Niño, a posessed image of the Child Jesus. But after she falls in love with him, he falls into a deep sleep of paranoia. To break the potion’s spell, Carla sets out on a pilgrimage after the same possessed Sto. Niño tells her that Delfin could only be woken from his sleep by bathing his body in the clear spring water that rages from a waterfall in the middle of the forest.

As they keep encountering the same bridge of San Sebastian, Bong and Francis begin to realize that the ghost stories they told each other to keep themselves awake on the road are beginning to come alive. Ghost stories could turn real when told on a Friday, more so on a Good Friday when Christ is still dead. Bong and Francis have to endure hauntings of a white lady, the undead, demons, lost ghosts of massacre and war victims, and other denizens of the underworld connected to the bridge of San Sebastian.

Because she always finds herself falling in love with gay men. She realizes too late how appearances do deceive as she finds out that it is Nick who is in love with her. This film is a layered look at gender stereotypes as the film also features in muted background narrative a gay relationship between a hooker and a gay man.

Math teacher, Sandra, teaches in a rotting, old, multi-grade classroom in a remote town. Her top girls Rosa and Michelle are competitive kids but also the best of friends. However, being from impoverished families, there are no resources to send them to college.  Michelle ends up working as a housemaid in the city, and Rosa finds herself pregnant from her high school boyfriend and has to stay behind. This ten episode television series follows the life stories of both Rosa and Michelle as they struggle towards fulfilling their dream of also becoming a teacher just like Sandra.
